Friends of Karines Reyes (the “Program”) offers a recurring SMS/MMS messaging program for voters and supporters in New York’s 87th Assembly District. By opting in to this Program, you consent to receive recurring automated political text messages from Friends of Karines Reyes, including but limited to: voter outreach and engagement messages, campaign event invitations and reminders, election and voting information, get-out-the-vote (GOTV) notifications, and issue-based updates relevant to New York’s 13th Congressional District. Messages are sent by Friends of Karines Reyes.

2. Consent and Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in via our website at karinesreyes.com, through in-person voter contact with campaign representatives, or by responding to an opt-in confirmation message, you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS/MMS messages from Friends of Karines Reyes. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or other obligation. Your consent applies only to the specific campaign described herein and does not extend to any other program or organization.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on campaign activity and election cycles. You may receive more frequent messages during peak campaign periods, including the weeks leading up to an election. On average, you can expect to receive approximately 4–15 messages per month, though this may vary.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also text STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to opt out. Upon receiving your opt-out request, you will receive a single confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS/MMS messages from this Program unless you opt in again.

No further messages will be sent after your opt-out is processed.

The messaging program is provided on an “as is” basis. Friends of Karines Reyes makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, timeliness, or accuracy of SMS/MMS messages. Neither Friends of Karines Reyes nor any participating wireless carrier shall be liable for any delays, failures, or errors in the delivery of any messages. Friends of Karines Reyes disclaims all liability for any losses, injuries, or damages arising from or related to the use of this messaging program.
